BRIAN J. CONNELLY

BRIAN J. CONNELLY

Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer

Brian J. Connelly dedicates his service to obtaining fair and just compensation for clients who have suffered injury through the negligence of others. Born in Vero Beach, he returned to his hometown to practice personal injury and civil trial law in 1995.

After attending the College of the Holy Cross and earning his law degree from Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Connelly began his career as a trial lawyer. Prior to launching his own law practice, Mr. Connelly practiced for 18 years with Vero Beach firm Gould Cooksey Fennell focusing his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice, social security disability and insurance litigation. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law. Mr. Connelly also maintains an “AV” rating, the highest conferred for legal ability and ethics, from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Mr. Connelly’s trial advocacy skills resulted in the largest verdict in Indian River County history for a non-surgical automobile accident case. Working as co-counsel he obtained a jury verdict, which ranked among the highest awards in personal injury cases in the history of our community. Florida Lawyer magazine covering legal matters throughout the state profiled the case.

Mr. Connelly is commitment to the community and is an active volunteer with a number of non-profit organizations. He spent three years as the Indian River County Pro Bono Liaison for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuits, was the past President for the Indian River County Bar Association, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association and The ARC of Indian River County.
