Born in Vero Beach, he returned to his hometown to practice personal injury and civil trial law in 1995.

As an athlete and scholar, Mr. Connelly attended the College of the Holy Cross and earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. For over three decades, he has dedicated his practice to helping those who have been injured in the areas of:

Mr. Connelly’s trial advocacy skills resulted in one of the largest verdicts in Indian River County history for a non-surgical automobile accident case. Working as co-counsel he obtained a jury verdict, which ranked among the highest awards in personal injury cases in the history of our community.

Mr. Connelly is dedicated to the community and is an active volunteer with a number of non-profit organizations. Married to his high school sweetheart of 35 years, Brian and his wife Laurie are ardent supporters and have served as mentors for Youth Guidance of Indian River County for many years.

He spent three years as the Indian River County Pro Bono Liaison for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuits, was the past President for the Indian River County Bar Association, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association and The ARC of Indian River County.

Mr. Connelly continues to volunteer his time for pro bono cases as well as for pro bono guardianship issues.​
